The delicate smell of summer

When we could be together 

I mean with real sense of together

Without virtual barriers 

Without masks or sanitizers

With all hopes anyone gathers

Remember for one minute or two

Soccer games, concerts of U2

Moments of sharing too

Having a lunch, having a drink

Having a plane, having a dream 

A time not so far, but not so far at it seems

Now try to remember that life survives thunder

Try to remember it’s pointless to surrender

Try to remember that the answer

Is getting better to win together 

I know how hard it is to remember 

But I know that what doesn’t kill me
